Details: What is it? Apples iPad connects wirelessly to the internet and has an intuitive touch interface. iPad applications are built for personal productivity, learning, play, and practice. Applications can be downloaded to the iPad. Why might it be relevant? The iPad represents a change in how computers are used and how applications will be developed. Students can search, share, and learn together through the iPads interface. The iPad can be connected to a projection device to display on a larger screen. What will I learn? How to use the iPad with hands-on access for each participant. How to search and download applications for the iPad. Discuss the iPads use in education.
